In a world with thousands of visual messages daily, simultaneous communication dialogues through multiple touch points and constant conversations between you and your networks, it’s important to de-clutter often. We all know this. It may not be urgent, but it’s important.
Is going for a lunch break to have a healthy nutritious meal, have some water and take 10 minutes of fresh air urgent? Probably not. Is it important? You bet.
If your not taking care of your health and well-being, how can you expect to deliver high standards of work? How can you experience all the adventure and excitement your aiming for if your mind, body and soul is a mess? How can you help others and be around to enjoy life with your family and loved ones if your stressed and unfit?
As a designer, life is incredibly fast paced. You can feel a migraine creeping in with a side of a panic attack. When you meet a deadline another 3 are already on the way. You need to keep your mind fresh with ideas but how can inspiration enter if your head is jam packed?
It’s actually very easy. Unload by breaking the pattern and release your bodies natural endorphins. Fundamentally, every cell in our bodies and every living organism requires oxygen. It’s our bodies way of cleansing itself. Breathing properly and drinking water are crucial, so I recommend you do lots of it!
